My electric bills were going through the roof. Each year they would just keep going up. I met a local person selling solar at an Earth Day event here in Framingham. My first questions to him was, "Do you have solar on your house?" He did and was proud to show me his system. I decided to go ahead and have solar installed on my home. I chose to buy my solar system, I understand there are other options, but buying was the best one for me. This was three years ago and now my system is paid off. I no longer have to pay an electric bill. I paid off the system by using the money I would have given to Eversource, plus the tax incentives and the money the utilities are paying you to install solar on your home. Today I still do not have an electric bill and I receive over three thousand dollars a year from the utilities for the next seven years. I have never needed a service call, system is working fine.
