I had my attic insulated in December 2018 after completing a free audit through Endless Energy, a Mass Save partner. Blown insulation is a messy job but the crew lined the work zone and vacuumed at the end of the job so the impact was minimal. As part of the insulation work, they added a thermal barrier to the attic hatch which is accessed through my bedroom closet. That closet was freezing in past winters but now it is just a tad on the chilly side. They also improved the damming in the attic and removed old fiberglass insulation left behind by the previous owners. Lastly, they added weather stripping to my front door and performed air sealing to the foundation in the basement. The team was very professional and worked carefully around my pets. The invoice totaled almost $2,400 but the cost to me was just under $500 thanks to the Mass Save rebates!
